Skin Re-Treat is a premium aesthetics and skincare business based in Lichfield. I was brought on to redesign their outdated WordPress website, delivering a fresh, modern digital presence built in Wix Studio that better reflects the brand’s clinical expertise and high-end service offering.

My Contribution

- Conducted a full audit of the existing site, highlighting over 20 issues around mobile responsiveness, SEO, content clarity, and navigation.

- Planned a new sitemap and page structure to streamline services and improve user experience.

- Wrote all new copy across the homepage, about, contact, and service pages — repositioning the brand with a more confident and warm tone of voice.

- Designed and built a fully bespoke Wix Studio site, featuring branded UI, custom mobile layouts, and seamless integrations for booking and contact.

- Integrated new brand visuals and supported email migration from a non-functioning WordPress domain email to a Gmail-based business address.

- Delivered SEO improvements including optimised metadata, alt text, URL structure, and internal linking.

Design Approach

The site reflects the business’s balance of clinical credibility and personal care. A soft yet polished aesthetic underpins the design, combining calming colours, generous white space, and refined typography to reflect Skin Re-Treat’s expertise and welcoming tone. UX decisions were guided by clarity, speed, and user trust.
